While maybe not as sweet, cute, and dreamy as the classic rhyme for children, this rendition of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” is definitely much more accurate (and glows in the dark!). The nineteenth century lullaby was long overdue for an update, and true wonderment can come from knowledge of what things really are. The vastness of space and multitude of objects out there is awe-inspiring.

There is beauty in truth; so inform your kiddo on the reality of those pretty balls of gas in space with this limited edition, 59 x 84cms, screen printed poster from NippazWithAttitude. Their genuine hand-pulled prints are made in England and come on high quality 100% soft cotton.

I don’t think anyone in the entertainment industry could have predicted that a TV show about the shenanigans of a group of socially awkward, genius scientists would be the enormous success Big Bang Theory has become. Whatever producer Chuck Lorre touches seems to turn to gold, and only he could pull this one off.

Sheldon seems to get the most merchandising attention, but this ridiculously cute twirly rainbow dress from Harp Diapers features silhouettes of all the core cast members, catchphrases, and sciencey images like radioactive and atom symbols. This would be the perfect party dress for your own little science nerd to wear this to your season ten premiere party.

We see bellies grow, and then watch babies grow every day and marvel at how quickly they change. The true wonder, though, is what’s taking place beneath the surface. Alterations in our little ones’ outward appearance over time are nothing compared to what is happening in their bodies on a cellular level. The ability to grow and repair body tissues is one of children’s superpowers; most wimpy adult cells loose the capability to divide (except stuff like skin cells, which isn’t nearly as cool). This adorable organic cotton onesie serves as a reminder of how much your baby is going through on a daily basis, and celebrates the cell division in your offspring with cute illustrations of the different stages of mitosis.

We have featured a bunch of Ety store NerdywithKid’s stuff on here before, but we have to admit it: we’re in love with the true-blooded nerdiness of their STEM collection. Featuring all the scientists you hope your kids will know about and idolize growing up, these onesies are truly the cream of the crop when you want to raise STEM-minded kids.

This one features Marie Curie with some radiation markings– which may be a grim reminder of this matriarch of science’s doom, or an important message for science-minded kiddos:  “Nothing is to be feared; it is only to be understood.”

Love this onesie too much? Got older kids who will appreciate it? Lucky enough, it comes in big kid and adult sizes. See their Etsy store for more details.

Hey nerds. How much do you love binary code? Now your baby can love it–and learn it– before they even begin speaking.

Just position this nursery-friendly print right in front of their crib, and before you know it, they will be 01110011 01110000 01100101 01100001 01101011 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01100001 01101100 01101100 00100000 01101011 01101001 01101110 01100100 01110011 00100000 01101111 01100110 00100000 01100011 01110010 01100001 01110000 00100000 01101001 01101110 00100000 01100011 01101111 01100100 01100101 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101  right before your very eyes!

This print comes from Etsy store GetYourNerdOn and comes in sizes from 8×10 (basically the size of some printer paper) all the way up to 16×20 inches, which is double the size. But we didn’t need to tell you that. Take a look at their various colors, too. We’re personally big fans of the dark teal.

Sometimes, science can get a little messy! What every good, miniature scientist needs isn’t a lab coat. Oh no! It’s an appropriately-themed bib.

Whether it’s because they are trying to bring their dino nuggets back to life or attempting to figure out what exactly is the chemical make up of what Mom claims is, “mushed peas,” these bibs are meant to last and last.

And on top of lasting? They’re pretty stinking cute, too.

This is a two-pack featuring both of the bibs that are featured: one is green and black with little atoms, while the other comes in a matching grey, green, and orange with chemistry beakers. They have three layers, with a middle of cotton batting and a backing of white terry cloth, so you can be certain that nothing is going to get through. Not even with the messiest little scientist in the world.

These bibs measure in at 8″ wide and 9.5″ from clasp to bottom. Make sure you take a measurement of your baby before purchasing just to make sure you get the right size. As we always say, babies grow super fast. It is scientifically proven!

And if you need to be further inspired, take a look at everything else in BeausAndBowsBoutique’s Etsy store. They have basically everything you could ever want for your little one, and a great deal of it can be personalized.  Better hurry, too– the shop will be closed for a short period of time after October ends as the owner goes on maternity leave!
